I’m Ian Borsuk and this is my personal website.
Check out my newsletter Sprawl Crawl here!
I am a Canadian activist and organiser who primarily speaks out and acts on issues of environmentalism and leftist politics/social issues. I grew up in in Toronto, and I went to Concordia University in Montreal where I studied philosophy.
I currently live in Hamilton and work at Environment Hamilton as the climate campaign coordinator where I operate as the city’s only full-time transit advocate, and have helped push for climate action locally with good policy and, notably, convincing City Council to declare a climate emergency. I’m involved with lots other groups as well – including sitting as the vice president of the Hamilton-Centre federal NDP riding association. I have written for Rabble, VICE Canada, and others. I am always open to further writing and speaking opportunities.
